On November 27, 2020, at the meeting room of the Deputy Governor of Phang-Nga Province, Phang-Nga City Hall, Mr.Thammanoon Sriwatthana, Deputy Governor of Phang-Nga Province, along with Siam Nagara Co., Ltd. and related government agencies, discussed a project to promote cultural tourism called “Travel around Thailand with MISS HERITAGE AMAZING TOUR”. Siam Nagara Co., Ltd., the company who is the copyright holder of the Miss Heritage Thailand competition, has launched this project to show the beauty of Thai heritage through 40 Thai beauty queens who are proud of being Thai. They will be selected from all 4 regions of the country, with 4 Beauty Qualities; 1. SMART 2. SPIRIT 3. SERVICE MIND 4. SIMPLICITY.

These beauties represent provinces and regions. They will join the project named “Travel around Thailand with MISS HERITAGE AMAZING TOUR” and attend a special training course for scouts at Wachirawut Scout Camp, Sriracha District, Chonburi Province. They will be the first “Beauty Scouts” in Thailand and in the world. Most importantly, the woman who is selected for the position of Miss Heritage Thailand 2021 will also hold the position of Miss International Thailand 2021. She will represent Thai women in the world stage, Miss International 2021 in Tokyo, Japan.

This is another project that can generate income for local communities during the Covid-19 crisis. This could be done with cooperation between government agencies and the private sectors in tourism business in various places throughout Thailand. With the slogan “Travel to the main city, stay in the secondary city, cruise the river of the land”, this project will promote domestic tourism, including by car, rail, air and water.
